A BIT ABOUT ME

After thirty years leading global communications and PR for Fortune 500 technology companies, I recently left the corporate world to dedicate myself to my passion for writing and storytelling.

I write whatever strikes me, which is mostly on topics of family, fatherhood, surviving the corporate rat race, and what it means to be authentic in an increasingly artificial, media-saturated world. In addition to my blog, Peaceable Man, my articles have appeared in MarketWatch, HumbleDollar, Elephant Journal, and Medium. My poetry and fiction have appeared in the Sewanee Review, Red River Review, Tiny Seed Literary Journal, Short Story Town, and The Poet.

The Long Walk Home is my first published book, but (I hope) not my last. I am currently working on a multigenerational novel, Unto the Mountain, about a lumbering family in rural Pennsylvania forced to confront long-held secrets as their dementia-stricken grandfather fights to keep his grip on reality.

I live in northeastern Pennsylvania with my German Shorthair Pointer Cassie. I have three grown sons. And in case you can't tell, I love fishing.
